Reiki Attunements

I give reiki workshops (attunements) so that you can give reiki to yourself, your friends and family, and your pets! These include the normal 3 levels of reiki plus advanced reiki and Magnified Healing

Reiki attunements are unlike any other type of training. This is because there is nothing intellectual about the process. The ‘student’ is not required to go through months or years of study to be able to give Reiki, nor are they expected to pass any exam or test to gain a certificate. Their presence at the attunement is sufficient, because all humans have the natural ability to heal by using the life energy. In the West we have been taught to deny this side of ourselves.

The rate at which each individual is able to accept Reiki, to use it, and to feel the energy flow while they are using it will largely be determined by their attitude to themselves and their own life experiences. And, for many people who have been held down by some of the limiting beliefs of western society, it may take some time for them to accept that they are able to be channels for this energy flow. But they are able, even before they come to realize it intellectually and emotionally.
I offer Usui reiki, which is the simplest basic form of reiki and the one that every type of reiki practice is based on. When I give attunements (reiki training), I offer three distinct levels, with the third offered in two parts.

Reiki Attunements

Having said this, the rate at which each individual is able to accept Reiki, to use it, and to feel the energy flow while they are using it will be largely determined by their attitude to themselves and their own experiences. When I give attunements, I offer them in three distinct levels, with the third (Mastery) offered in two parts.

Reiki 1
I normally offer Reiki 1 attunements in a weekend, two days that run from 10 to 5. This level is open to anyone who expresses an interest in Reiki. I would prefer that each person at the Reiki 1 weekend have already experienced Reiki at least once before, as this gives all participants a suitable starting point. During the weekend we discuss briefly the history of Reiki, its development, and why each person attending wishes to be attuned. There is opportunity for each participant to receive Reiki from each other, and also to give themselves Reiki - self treatment is at the heart of the Usui Reiki tradition. Primarily it is a weekend for sharing our expectations and understanding about what Reiki is and its potential - in a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.
Normally 2 day workshop

Reiki 2
I offer Reiki 2 to those people who feel strongly that they wish to go on to this level. The attunement itself is done in a single full day and includes the traditional three symbols and their use. I also give a follow up meeting to the group or each individual, as usually there are issues and questions that arise when first working with the symbols.

REIKI 3 - MASTERY
It is entirely unnecessary for anyone to go past Reiki 1. After the Reiki 1 attunement each person will be able to give Reiki to themselves, their family and friends, animals and plants - really there is no limit. However some people will want to continue with Reiki for spiritual and personal growth and to develop their healing potential. Others may feel drawn to share the experience on another level and wish to become teacher or sensei. I therefore offer Reiki 3 in two parts.
