Reiki

Reiki is an energy balancing technique. The practitioner is a channel for the universal life force/ki/chi/prana. This energy is received and felt on all levels - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

The nature of the experince of Reiki is different every time, because the issues and energies that shape our feelings and reactions to the world around us are never exactly duplicated.

What is certain is that there will be some reaction, from simply feeling deeply relaxed to feeling a bouyancy and hopefulness that remains with you, or simply the release of pain or tension on every or any level.

It may be unpredictable, but its always lovely.

Simply and primarily, Reiki allows the giver or therapist to be a transmitter of life force energy.

This energy heals and balances you on every level bringing you freedom from physical pain, release from tension and stress. Reiki can also re-balance you mentally and emotionally, dispelling depression and generally making life easier to handle in every way you can imagine. Reiki can also touch you at a deep spiritual level, leaving you feeling buoyant and energised.

Reiki is completely non-invasive.

It can be used on newborn babies, pregnant women and the frail elderly. It can be used as a way of alleviating pain, to assist you to improve the quality of your life, or as a tool for spiritual growth - or all of these and more.

Modern physics is now discovering what ancients knew, that our bodies are not solid but rather interconnected fields of energy in constant motion.

Our emotions are energy, our thoughts are energy, our physical bodies are energy and the physical world that surrounds us is energy.

The Reiki practitioner channels ki, life force or Universal energy, to influence and rebalance the recipient’s energy fields.

The rate and extent of the changes will depend on the degree of imbalance, the focus of intention by the practitioner and the readiness of the client to receive and use the Reiki flow.
